About the place Pedreguer
Pedreguer is a small village located in the interior of the Costa Blanca North. You can especially enjoy the tranquility here. The coastal cities such as Javea and Denia are only a 20-minute drive away, so if you want to look up the crowds then this is done in no time.
The Jalon valley and the Orba valley are also a short distance away. This is the ideal place for the true nature lover. It is also a wine region, so wine lovers can enjoy themselves here as well.
Pedreguer is also ideal compared to the airports, as it is a 1-hour drive to both Valencia Airport and Alicante Airport.
Parties and activities
If you like sports and culture then you can go to the sports center and cultural center. Both are located in the village and here you can often admire performances, shows and acts.
Bull runs through the city take place here every July. This party is dedicated to the Sant Bonaventura. The celebrations for Sant Blai and Sant Antoni are also held here.
Every Sunday there is the famous flea market (Rastro), where you can score the real bargains. The specialty of the villagers is making handbags. hats and other leather goods. This can also be seen in the large range on the markets.
Another specialty of Pedreguer is the cultivation of fruit and vegetables. The village is therefore surrounded by agricultural fields.
It is really worth taking a walk through the center. Here you can discover beautiful buildings. It is an authentic village, which can be seen in the colorful facades of many buildings. Around the town square you will see beautiful facades that date from the 19th century. These are called Els Porxes. The market square can be recognized by the Arabic tiles and cast-iron pillars. Furthermore, the beautiful church of Santa Cruz from the 16th century is also worth seeing.
While driving around in the Pedreguer area you will regularly see signs with "Mirador" written on it. This means a vantage point, so if you have the time you can admire beautiful views here.
